I hate it when some chooses a terrible restaurant for their birthday. As I get older, my money and time is and precious. Last tuesday, it is a friends birthday and unexpectedly I find myself venturing out to celebrate. Of course, the first chain restaurant chosen was packed (the one that actually has a great, over priced beer selection and decent food), over a 50 minute wait. Next place we go is the scummiest bar, or at least among them…and not really because of the cleanliness, but more for the clientele. This is where we chose to eat. They are also slammed…fast forward to midnight, I’m tired, sluggish from investing a platter of fried {insert random food item}, and $20 poorer. What up with that!

Welcome to Making Sense, my personal blog for just about anything. Well, I'd like to welcome you with this age-old Buddha quote: “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
